Dr Rooshab Malde, is the practice owner and principal dentist at Forum Dental Centre Belmont. He graduated with honours from Cardiff University (University of Wales College of Medicine) in 2009, and is a very passionate dentist, working hard to ensure that you have the best quality of care at an affordable price.
Rooshab enjoys all aspects of dentistry and has a particular interest in prosthodontics (crowns and bridges), implant and cosmetic dentistry, oral surgery and endodontics (root canal treatments). Dr Rooshab’s primary focus is to build strong relationships with all of his patients, to create a long-standing personal and comfortable environment for both himself and his patients.
Rooshab is married to Rakhee, the other owner of the practice and they have one very cute kid! Outside of running Belmont’s family dental clinic he enjoys travelling, skiing, and keeping up with the European football league.
Dr Rakhee Malde, practice owner and dentist at Forum Dental Centre Belmont is a conscientious and highly motivated individual who has a strong passion for dentistry. She graduated from the most prestigious King’s College London in 2010, and in 2012 she obtained her membership of the Faculty of dental Surgeons from the Royal College of Surgeons in England, a body which enables dentists to provide patients with the highest possible standard of practice and care.
As a gentle dentist, she continually strives to make patient’s dental experiences as comfortable as possible. Her special interests in dentistry lie in restorative dentistry, oral surgery and preventative dentistry. She also has a special interest in orthodontics and is pursuing courses with the intention of providing Invisalign treatment and simple orthodontics for all patients in the near future.
In her spare time, Rakhee enjoys spending quality time with her family, as well as swimming and playing badminton and tennis. She also enjoys reading and keeping up to date with current affairs.
Dr Armando Menezes graduated from UWA in 1987. He worked as a dentist in the RAAF at the RAAF base in Pearce Bullsbrook & RAAF base Glenbrook Sydney. Later, he worked in private practice in Sydney & Alice Springs, prior to returning back to Perth & taking over Forum Dental Centre Belmont from his sister in 1999.
His wife Samantha was the receptionist when he first took over the practice and they have 4 children together (2 are now adults). She had to take time away from the practice but still maintained a managerial role from home & devoted her time to the smooth running of the practice whilst studying at university part time & running a household.
He enjoys all aspects of dentistry & loves the friendships that have developed with patients over the years as well as seeing their children grow up & now still come to the practice as young adults. He loves the outdoors. He did lots of camping & 4 wheel driving whilst in the Northern Territory and enjoys boating & fishing now that he is back in Perth. He also enjoys gardening & maintaining (hopefully) a reasonable level of fitness.
He has competed in various bodybuilding events & has held 3 state & 2 national titles in his divisions.
Odaya moved to Australia from Israel 7 years ago, and studied dental assisting at DNA Kingston in 2009. She joined the team at Forum Dental Centre Belmont as head nurse in 2016. She has a kind, and gentle nature, and is passionate about making our patients feel comfortable in the chair (even those with dental anxiety), and endeavours in helping them feel cared for.
When she is not helping our patients, she is travelling with her partner, learning different cultures and languages.
Lena has been with the Forum Dental family since 2002! For well over 15 years she has been looking after our local Belmont patients and helping them feel comfortable, and pain free during the dental process. Lena has a great friendship with many of our regular patients and is well known by the Belmont community for her friendly, warm nature.
When Lena is not working, she loves a good bike ride, gardening and getting stuck into a good book (don’t we all!).
Rhonda has over 19 years experience in assisting in private practice. She is friendly, approachable, gentle and caring and our patients would say the same! She loves meeting people and has made many life long friends through the dental clinic.
When she is not caring for patients, she is being a mother to her two young daughters, getting outdoors and enjoying an epic meal with family and friends.
Shardai has been working in the dental industry for the past 6 years, originally working as a dental nurse. She has recently taken the position of becoming the front office coordinator for the practice.
Shardai thoroughly enjoys creating strong relationships with all her patients, and looks forward to seeing everybody and hearing about their lives at their dental appointments. She strives to make sure she provides the best possible care and service to all our patients attending Forum Dental Centre.
In her spare time, she loves eating out and keeping fit. She also has discovered a new passion for skiing and travelling the world!
Shantelle started working at Forum Dental in July as our office administrator. After recently finishing her Bachelor of Science (Health Sciences) at Curtin University, Shantelle enjoys working in an environment that offers quality patient-centred care.
As your first point-of-contact, Shantelle wishes to make sure that every patient who visits goes into their appointment feeling calm. She has a warm and friendly personality and loves hearing all about everyone’s latest holidays and adventures. She has a passion for encouraging healthy lifestyle behaviours for optimal health and engages in many fitness ventures and nutritious food outings.
